Daphne

Earlier this month, the Gerber Group unveiled Daphne, a new nightclub in New York City. Owners Owen Gerber and Scott Gerber have combined their talents to offer guests a fresh take on the nightlife scene. The bar is located beneath Hotel 50 Bowery in Chinatown. It has state-of-the-art lighting and a cool new cocktail menu. The swanky bar also features 20 VIP tables, and it’s open on Fridays and Saturdays from 10pm-4am.

Another cool feature is the Conservatory. The space is licensed to host weddings. It’s also a perfect spot for lunch.

Peachy’s

Located in Chinatown, Peachy’s is a speakeasy that boasts a lot of oomph. They’ve got a very funky look, and they’re known for their cocktails. 67 Orange Street

67 Orange Street is a craft cocktail destination located in New York City’s Harlem. The bar opened in 2008 and takes inspiration from Almack’s Dance Hall, a pioneering Black-owned bar that opened in the mid-1800s. It was known as the birthplace of tap dancing. The establishment attracted a diverse clientele, including Charles Dickens.

The bar’s name, 67 Orange, is a tribute to the address of the original Almack’s Dance Hall. It has a speakeasy aesthetic and features wrought iron, raw wood, pressed tin and dark leather. The drinks menu includes classic cocktails and modern originals.

Jadis wine bar

Located in the lower east side, Jadis wine bar is the epitome of a neighborhood joint. Owners of the local plethora of neighborhood wine bars are not only in the business of supplying drinkers with a good time, they’re also committed to showcasing local musicians. They also boast an impressive list of cocktails and craft beers.

In addition to the usual suspects, the menu boasts an array of vegetarian and vegan dishes. There’s a reason they’re so popular: the food is well crafted and well priced. The decor is on point, with an old school vibe that’s perfect for those looking to have a good time. They even have some games like shuffleboard and ping pong to keep things interesting.

Sunny’s

Located on the waterfront in Red Hook, Sunny’s NYC bars is a landmark in the Brooklyn neighborhood. It’s a quaint, family-run saloon that has been open for over 120 years. Today it is owned by a man named Sunny Balzano, a grandson of the original owner. The bar is open for business eight days a week, and is open until 11pm on Thursdays and Fridays.

It is a dive bar that is affordable, and the owners of Sunny’s are dedicated to preserving the history of the place. It is a longtime watering hole for Red Hook residents, and a melting pot of the community.

Jimmy’s Corner

Located in Times Square, Jimmy’s Corner is a small bar that has been a favorite for boxing fans. Jimmy Glenn owned the bar for nearly 50 years. He had a storied career in boxing. He trained fighters, was a cutman, and managed fighters. During his boxing career, he met and trained many famous fighters. He was known for his work with Muhammad Ali.

The bar has walls covered with memorabilia, including pictures of Muhammad Ali, Joe Louis-Max Schmeling, and George Foreman. It also has a jukebox filled with Stax classics. The ambiance is charming, and the prices are friendly. The bar is open seven days a week from 11am-4am, with three-dollar beers available.
